12 Oct Eco-Schools Green Flag Award
Jubilee pupils worked incredibly hard last year to earn an Eco-Schools Green Flag. This is an international accreditation recognising their amazing work in making their school more environmentally friendly. School council pupils focused on three areas to develop : waste, biodiversity and the school grounds. There were many successes, including: setting up a food waste and mixed recycling system across the school, creating mini-beast homes and planting wild flowers in the school grounds. Pupils across the school should be very proud of this achievement.
