10 Jun Jubilee Tea Party
To mark the Queen’s Jubilee, we held a tea party and Bake Off in the meadow this week. It was amazing to see so many entries to our Jubilee Bake Off, demonstrating the wonderfully creative baking talents we have at our school! We were all so impressed with the presentation and taste of all the entries; Mrs Hewins had a very tough job judging these with the help of our Teaching Assistant, Adam! Thank you all so much if you were able to bring a treat along on the day. We asked for donations in return for the treats if you could, and all proceeds will go towards the PTA funding priorities, including replenishing library books, funding the gardening sessions, and enabling LAMDA sessions to run in Years 3 and 4. Thank you for giving generously.
A huge WELL DONE and CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of the Bake Off:
Overall Winner: Clementine R
Winner of Best Presentation: Micha C
Winner of Best Taste: Lotta D
Winner of best cookie: Belize
Winner of best Presentation: Matilda
There were so many showstopping cakes and bakes: it was such a difficult decision! Well done to everyone.
