21 Feb Year 5 Jungle Book production
Year 5 staged a dazzling production of ‘Jungle Book Kids’ just before half-term. Now in the 5th year of our partnership with Disney Musicals in Schools, it has become a Jubilee tradition and we were so pleased to be able to welcome in a full audience for two evenings as well as performances to all the children during the school day. Year 5 worked incredibly hard to put the show together, and huge thanks go to the PTA for funding the lighting and sound upgrade in the hall, as well as providing refreshments at the performances, to Year 5 parents who made donations, helped make costumes and rustled up tasty treats, and to Laura Beth our LAMDA coach who helped put together some brilliant choreography.
It was a wonderful experience for the children which they will remember for a long time. We are looking forward to getting back to a full programme of gatherings and performances again soon!
